Jay; Pathic at Milehigh vineyard church encouraged me, so this may encourage you, there is nothing sexy about walking. But Adam and Eve walked with God in the Garden. So we too, step by step, we don't see the results, how far we have come. It is a slow steady pace, not glorifed by wordly or even some christian church standards as a miricle ( and they do happen) but not as a standard. We walk, because we grow with God in relationship. You are on a sweet trail that God has mapped for you. God bless.

Dear Brother,

Greetings

I am from Pakistan. I have studied your web site, and have found it to
be one of many wonderful sites offered on the internet which gets to the
Truth of the Word of God. As is the case with others whom I have
contacted, you have created material which is full of knowledge
concerning development of religious faith. Living in Pakistan, we
Christians face many obstacles in getting access to God's Word. Most
people in Pakistan speak Urdu, and are not capable of understanding the
English language. Because of limited access in our native tongue, my
people have a true hunger for fresh Christian Perspectives.

Proficient in both English and my native languages, I would like to
offer my services as a translator to you. Presenting your material in
both Urdu and Punjabi would be a true blessing to the Pakistani and
Indian people. For a nominal fee, I will enable you to bring the message
of Salvation to a most deserving people. Please contact me for
reasonable rates.
Blessing you in advance for your consideration,

In Him,
Mehwish

Thank you for saying this. As someone who works in Young Adult Ministry (specifically college campus ministry) I wish that more Youth Ministers had this philosophy. Young Adult Ministry is just what you described, being their biggest cheerleader. At it's most basic level my job is provide the opportunity and the resources for Young Adults to minister to each other. Unfortunately, what happens most of the time is that students join our ministry expecting it to be just like their youth group and wanting me to do everything for them. It takes about 4 years to mold them into these leaders that are not only excited about their faith, but excited about making the faith journey alongside their peers taking turns leading each other not looking at me to tell them where to go. Then at the end of 4 years they leave. If even only some of them already came with that leadership mindset in place I honestly believe that our ministry would be more fruitful. So thank you. God bless you, your family, and your ministry. Know that I'm praying for you.

Blessings,
Janet

The youth ministry you brought to Sig was very important to me. I didn't realize at the time, but looking back on it I see that for me it wasn't so much of bringing kids to Christ, but of showing them how a Christian could live in this world. The example to me has been more important than any specific message. The message doesn't change; it's written in any Bible you pick up. The person speaking about the message, how they live their life, that is the important part that stuck with me.
